“Stay gold is for the vaccinated” was the name of the art exhibition that accompanied the immunization campaign, which refers to a song by the South Korean septet. Anyone over the age of 12 could register to receive their vaccination at this event held on July 31 at the Jakarta Convention Center.
At least 10,000 individuals were vaccinated with government-provided Sinovac doses, CNN Indonesia reported. While attendees waited for their turn, they enjoyed the K-pop boyband concert screening.
After receiving the dose, users could also walk up to an art installation inspired by the “Stay Gold” video clip to capture selfies or commemorative photos.
“Senyum ARMY supports the program to accelerate vaccination.
We want to encourage the importance of being vaccinated so that ARMY and their families are protected in the pandemic ”, declared the representative of this fanclub for CNN Indonesia.
“We hope that vaccination can combat the chain of spread of COVID-19, so that we can resume our activities more easily in the future,” she added.
The campaign has been praised by netizens from other countries, who highlighted the creativity of the fans of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook; and your initiative to contribute to the well-being of your local community.
