Ed Sheeran marked his return with the release of the vampire clip for the single “Bad Habits” this Friday, June 25, marking a stage that promises to be quite productive. This song will be part of a new album by the Briton who has intentions of a double release.
In an interview with the “Zach Sang Show” Ed said he produced an average of 250 songs during the novel coronavirus quarantine period. Also, he talks about the impact of this troubled time on humanity and how things had to be done differently.
“I did two albums and I basically wrote about 250 songs, about 50 ballads, and at that point how do you find out what’s good if you can’t play for people? They’re like my musical children, so I’ve been listening to my wife and that’s what she and I agreed on, I think” he said.

As if the 250 songs that Ed Sheeran wrote for his next album are not enough, the singer even prepared music for other artists and probably that he wrote one more song for BTS. After the single “Make It Right“, a song that is part of the album “Map of the Soul: 7”.
“I actually worked with BTS on their last album and wrote a song for their new album. And they’re also super, super nice guys” Sheeran said.
The information of Ed Sheeran’s participation in the BTS album, inclusive, has already been confirmed by the boys’ record label, Big Hit Music who confirmed it with the news outlet Newsen.

In other news related to Ed Sheeran, the new sound of “Bad Habits”, with guitars and a faster rhythm, was not the initial idea for the first hit of the next album to be released. Due to the pandemic, he had to adapt the choice, because he did not want to release a discouraged song for that moment.
“… I think it’s the best song he could come back to” he mused.
