The partnership between BTS and McDonald’s is a proven success. Edaily’s article revealed that more than 1.
2 million BTS meals have been sold at the fast food chain. It’s only the first 25 days in South Korea and the combo is marketed in almost 50 countries.
Also according to Edaily, the BTS combo sells for around $6.1 in South Korea. With the sale of 1.2 million combos, McDonald’s has already earned .
32 million in the beginning of the partnership.
It is the first time that a McDonald’s menu item has sold more than a million units in such a short time.
Nugget sales increased 250% at McDonald’s between May 27 and June 21. Additionally, ABS–CBN revealed that the BTS meal has sold nearly one million units in the Philippines. Some of the McDonal’ds affiliates are selling 10,000 BTS combos a day. There, the item costs around $5.5, which translates to $5 million in sales so far.

In the United States, there are no published data so far. But the Business Insider website said McDonald’s customers grew 12% in a week when the BTS combo was launched. If you thought that BTS’s collaboration with McDonald’s had ended the South Korean group’s special combination in franchise restaurants around the world, you are wrong.
The collaboration continues and this time it comes in the form of an extensive product line.
