Maluma says that the Super Bowl missed his song

The Super Bowl halftime show is traditionally based on big stages and dazzling shows. You think of Lady Gaga jumping off the roof of Houston’s NRG Stadium, or Katy Perry riding an animatronic lion.

This year was a little different because of the pandemic. The Weeknd shook the world with their halftime movie show at the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 7, and some celebrities had the best reactions.

The event was held at Raymond James Stadium in Florida; without a doubt it is the most commented on social networks for more than 24 hours.

The Canadian star was the interval act and, for the first time in the game’s 55-year history, was largely forced to act from the stands, rather than the field; in accordance with strict coronavirus protocols. His show was “seen” by miles of cardboard cutouts, which increased the volume of the 25,000 socially estranged fans at Florida’s Raymond James Stadium.

But the 30-year-old made the most of what could be given him with a show that emphasized his songs. Of course, the reactions on Twitter did not wait and one of the most commented interactions was the Colombian singer Maluma. Let’s remember that a few months ago the singers collaborated on the remix of the hit “Hawaii”.

They even filmed a music video together and the song had moderately low success, they couldn’t beat the original version. But this was not an excuse for Maluma to say on his Twitter:

“Very cool but… it missed Hawai Remix”
