Things haven’t been going very well for Pink this past year. After her hard work to recover from Covid-19, the singer had to be hospitalized on Saturday when she sprained her ankle at her home in the United States.
In typical good humor, the talented artist posted a photo on Instagram explaining what, in fact, happened.
As if surviving covid wasn’t enough for this poop sandwich of a year! Well, I got my stitches out from drying that wine glass, that went well. Then I recovered from my very first staph infection for no reason (cry for help?) (right knee was lonely?) so I thought I’d fracture my ankle! Later tonight I’m gonna climb inside a raw chicken and see if I can’t check out what salmonella’s like! 2020 is the gift that keeps on giving ???? I was actually running down the stairs trying to see the Christmas star! Ha! Turns out it’s not until the 21st. Happy holidays everyone! Who wants a Negroni!
with a lot of sarcasm.
In May, Pink spoke openly about the ‘terrifying’ experience she and her three-year-old son, Jameson, had while both battling Covid-19. The Grammy winner spoke three times about her “physically and emotionally challenging” battle with the disease to NBC.
“Not all families, especially those living on reservations or in refugee camps, slums or slums, can practice social detachment. In many parts of the world, access to water can take hours, soap can be a luxury”
She said.
Pink and her son tested positive for coronavirus after showing symptoms and have been recovering ever since. She announced in her Instagram statement that he was donating $1 million to help fight the pandemic. The artist is the mother of Jameson, 3, and Willow, 9, with her husband Carey Hart, 45, whom she married in 2006.
