The Bangtan Sonyeondan’s guys keep releasing new songs and breaking records.
In September of this year, Billboard launched ‘Billboard Global 200‘ and also ‘Billboard Global Excl. U.S.’ that are charts based on sales and streaming data of 200 different territories around the world.
As we now, BTS’s ‘Life Goes On‘ entered at Top 1 of Global 200 chart with 152.6 million streams and also 84,000 downloads in ending of november 26. It surpassed BLACKPINK’s previous record with ‘Lovesick Girls’ at 123.8 million streams.
Also, BTS is the first band (and artist too) to be three times on Top 1 of Global 200. The first time was with ‘Savage Love’ and then with ‘Dynamite’.

Right now BTS has 3 different songs on Global 200 Top 10, and 2 different songs on Global Excl. U.S. Top 10. But not only that, ‘BE’ has debuted in Top 1 on Billboard‘s Top 200 Album Chart, and this made them be the first group to land 2 different albums at Top 1 in 2020.
The last group to top Billboard 200 with five consecutive albums was The Beatles.
