Information about the autopsy of Naya rivera where the tragic moments that led her to drowning are detailed.
The Ventura County Medical Examiner made the full announcement about the autopsy from the star who worked on Glee. The report was released on Friday, September 11
According to the given information by Fox News, Rivera and her 4-year-old son, Josey, “They supposedly counted to 3 and then jumped out of the boat together.” Moments later, Naya would have told her son “Get back to the boat.”
“She helped him get into the boat and he heard Naya yelling ‘Help’, she put her arm up and then disappeared into the water.” The report continued
Doctors noticed that she was a good swimmer, and the person who rented her the pontoon said that she declined the life jacket. In any case, she put one inside the boat, which was used by Josey, her son.
Naya had vertigo problems and was in a full recovery from a recent sinus infection.
She was found with a small dose of amphetamines prescribed by her doctor and the report also said that her body had the anti-anxiety medication “Diazepam” and the appetite suppressant: “Phentermine”.
Doctors did not found “Known history of suicide attempt or suicidal thoughts” and her death has been officially declared as a water accident, so, she sadly drowned.
Naya drowned in Lake Piru in the state of California this July 8, 2020. Her body was recovered by rescue teams on July 13.
She was buried in a private funeral on July 24.
