Black Parade is a song to honour Juneteenth. Juneteenth is an unofficial American holiday commemorating June 19, 1865. On that date, the abolition of slavery began to be celebrated in the state of Texas, USA.

The festivity’s name is a mixture of the English words “June” and “nineteenth”, the date of the celebration. Juneteenth is recognized as a special holiday in 45 states.
